Year 4 RSHE Lesson – Healthy Eating (Nutrition & Balanced Diet)

This Year 4 RSHE Healthy Eating lesson teaches pupils how nutrition supports energy, learning, growth and emotional wellbeing. Children learn about food groups, calories, reading food labels and building balanced meals using traffic-light nutrition labels.

The lesson addresses emotional eating, sugary foods and tooth decay, encouraging healthier swaps and positive attitudes toward food and body image. Pupils are reminded that support is available if they feel worried about food or their health.
