Year 2 RSHE Lesson – Healthy Eating (Nutrition and Balanced Diet)

This Year 2 RSHE Healthy Eating lesson teaches children how different foods help their bodies grow, stay strong and feel energised. Pupils learn about food groups, balanced meals, listening to hunger cues and making healthier snack choices.

The lesson also explores how too many sugary foods can affect teeth and wellbeing, and encourages children to try new healthy foods and drink more water. Pupils are guided to talk to trusted adults if they are worried about food or how their body feels.
