Year 4 RSHE Lesson – Respectful and Kind Relationships

This Year 4 RSHE lesson on Respectful and Kind Relationships teaches pupils about assertive communication, personal boundaries and respecting differences. Children learn how to say no confidently, listen when others set boundaries and resolve conflict without aggression.

The lesson addresses bullying, stereotypes and bystander behaviour, helping pupils understand how repeated unkindness affects wellbeing and when to intervene or report concerns. Self-respect and confidence are promoted through recognising strengths and valuing individuality.
