Year 2 RSHE Lesson – Respectful and Kind Relationships

This Year 2 RSHE lesson on Respectful and Kind Relationships teaches children how to communicate assertively, use kind words and respect the needs and boundaries of others. Pupils explore fairness, stereotypes and why everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and respect.

The lesson introduces bullying awareness by explaining the difference between one-off disagreements and repeated unkind behaviour. Children learn that it is okay to say no, ask for help and feel proud of who they are, supporting both safeguarding and confidence building.
