Year 4 RSHE Lesson – Being Safe (Boundaries, Privacy and Consent)

This Year 4 RSHE Being Safe lesson teaches pupils about personal boundaries, privacy and recognising safe and unsafe behaviour both offline and online. Children practise saying no, moving away from unsafe situations and reporting concerns to trusted adults.

The lesson explores safe and unsafe touch, secrets that should never be kept, and respectful behaviour in friendships. Pupils are reassured that speaking up is always the right thing to do and that help is available through school staff, parents and Childline.
