Year 2 RSHE Lesson – Wellbeing Online (Digital Wellbeing & Online Safety)

This Year 2 RSHE Online Wellbeing lesson helps children understand how the internet can affect emotions and behaviour, and how to stay safe and kind online. Pupils learn about age-appropriate apps, limiting screen time, and recognising when online content makes them feel worried, upset or confused.

The lesson teaches children not to share personal information, to check with trusted adults before clicking links or downloading apps, and to understand that not everything online is true. Pupils also explore how to balance screen use with offline activities to protect mental wellbeing.
