Year 2 RSHE Lesson – Being Safe (Boundaries and Trusted Adults)

This Year 2 RSHE Being Safe lesson teaches children about personal boundaries, body privacy and recognising safe and unsafe touch in a sensitive, age-appropriate way. Pupils learn that they have the right to say no and that they should always tell a trusted adult if something makes them feel uncomfortable.

The lesson explores good and bad secrets, unsafe situations and how to respond by leaving, saying no and seeking help. Children are reassured that speaking up is always the right thing to do and that support is available through trusted adults and Childline.
