Year 1 RSHE Lesson - Drugs Alcohol Tobacco Vaping (Statutory Relationships Education)

This Year 1 RSHE drugs and safety lesson introduces children to the idea that some substances can help us when used properly, such as medicine given by trusted adults, while other substances can be harmful and must never be touched by children.

The lesson explains in simple, child-friendly language that cigarettes, vapes and alcohol can harm the body and should never be handled by children. Pupils also learn the importance of telling a trusted adult if they ever find medicines, lighters or unknown substances.
