Year 1 RSHE Lesson - Online Safety and Awareness (Statutory Relationships Education)

This Year 1 Online Safety RSHE lesson introduces children to what it means to be online and how to use the internet safely when watching videos, playing games or talking to others. Pupils learn that they should never share personal information online and that not everyone online is who they say they are.

Children are taught to only use age-appropriate apps and games and to tell a trusted adult if they ever see something that makes them feel sad, scared or confused. The lesson reinforces that online behaviour should be kind, just like in real life.
